This site is intended to
give you an insight into the way of life throughout the
years. I am a huge lover of history, however
dates and events do not interest me as much as the
people themselves and the day to day life of the people
of the times. I
will attempt to bring you true stories of specific
people, places and eras. Where did they live? What
did they eat? How did they survive? What did they wear?
Those are the types of things that I find fascinating
and I hope you will too!
Whenever possible I will
include archeological discoveries and theories,
images, portraits, etc. of the people in my stories and
articles. I will travel through times from the
Cheddar Man circa 7051BC through the Middle Ages,
the Renaissance Period and onward to momentous
events as they happen today.
My hope is to provide
information that may not be included in history text
books but will help to understand what it was truly like
to live in these times. Please bookmark this site
as I will be continually adding more content as history
reveals itself to me one day at a time. If you are as
fascinated with history and the historic look at people
